ON-LINE PROTEST PROCESS

The El Paso Central Appraisal District, in compliance with Section 41.415 of the Texas Property Tax Code, now offers On-Line Protest . Currently this service is limited to homestead residential properties and only available in certain areas of the County of El Paso. EPCAD plans to expand this service in the near future to all areas of the County and to include other types of taxable real and business personal property. If your property is eligible for on-line protest for 2010, you will receive notification and a pin number as part of your appraisal notice.

There is no charge for using this service.

Using this on-line service does not change any deadlines for filing a timely protest with the Appraisal Review Board (ARB).

This service is not available to a property owner who has designated an agent to represent the owner in a protest.
